It started with a borrowed drone.
In April 2025, a great friend loaned me his Mavic Air 2 so I could grab a few shots of Church Street Studio. I thought it would be a quick project. After a few flights (and my first crash), I knew I needed one of my own.
By June, I had a Mini Pro 3 for a family trip to Puerto Vallarta. I caught sunrises, sunsets, and even dodged a few birds along the way. We got home around nine at night, and instead of calling it a day, I stayed up until two in the morning cutting video. The next morning, Big Sky 30 was on YouTube.
Right now Big Sky 30 is still a hobby, but it’s also my way of exploring the places I care about – and the ones I haven’t seen yet.
